Freelanceton Cancellation and Refund Policy

There are instances where the customer reserves the right to cancel a service request or request a refund from Freelanceton. This refund policy is meant to address that.

Please note, changes in your circumstances are not the responsibility of Freelanceton and neither can Freelanceton be held liable for changes in your circumstances as pertains to refund.

Please note that our policy on service request cancellation and refund varies depending on the type of service a customer has chosen to access on the Freelanceton website and its sister websites, under the Freelanceton Online Services. Possible scenarios where service request cancellation or refund request may arise are as follows:

  • A customer paid upfront for online tutoring
  • A customer paid upfront for business content writing
  • A customer purchased sample solutions on the solutions subdomain

1. Upfront payment for online tutoring

If you have paid upfront to access online tutoring, refunds or cancellation can only be issued if:

  • You have not accessed any portion of the live online tutoring.
  • You have not accessed any portion of the recorded online tutoring. For recorded tutoring, you may request a refund if the elapsed time between the order confirmation notification and the expected delivery time is less than 40%.
  • You have requested a refund or cancellation before the scheduled start time for live online tutoring.

2. Upfront payment for business content writing

For business content writing, you will are entitled to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund only if you meet the following requirements:

  • For all business content orders, your business content order has not been assigned to our experts for handling, and/or the elapsed time between order confirmation notification and expected delivery time is not less than 40%
  • For proposals, you have not engaged with our professionals with regard to their implementation.
  • If you have placed a batched order, you may request a refund for part of the batch that has not been assigned to our experts for handling, and/or the elapsed time between order confirmation notification and expected delivery time is not less than 40%

3. Upfront payment for custom paper writing

For custom paper writing, you will are entitled to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund only if you meet the following requirements:

  • For all custom paper orders, your custom paper order has not been assigned to our experts for handling, and/or the elapsed time between order confirmation notification and expected delivery time is not less than 40%.
  • If you have placed a batched order, you may request a refund for part of the batch that has not been assigned to our experts for handling, and/or the elapsed time between order confirmation notification and expected delivery time is not less than 40%.

4. Purchase of Sample Solutions through the solutions subdomain

  • There are no refunds for sample solutions purchased through Freelanceton if you as the customer or client have already gained access to the sample solution download link.
  • A refund will be issued for a sample solution purchased through Freelanceton only if you as the customer have not gained access to the sample solution from Freelanceton through the following means:
    • Received the sample solution file in your email account.
    • Access the link for the sample solution download through the customer account
    • Opened the sample solution online directly through the Freelanceton sample solution interface (i.e., website or mobile app)

How to request for a refund or cancellation from Freelanceton

To request for a refund or cancellation, contact Freelanceton at refunds@freelanceton.com indicating the email used for the purchase and the order number. Freelanceton will send a response to refund or cancellation queries within 48 hours of receiving them.

Freelanceton assumes that with the purchase of any of our services or products, you have read and agreed to the aforementioned refund policy.

If you are eligible for a refund, Freelanceton will make the refund on the debit or credit card used by you to pay for the service or product.

Note: All refunds or cancellations will be processed within 10 working days after the refund request is approved by Freelanceton.

Freelanceton reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions of this refund or cancellation policy without any prior notice. However, an email notification about the change in privacy changes shall be sent to the customer.
